Roofing in Olmos Park

Established homes, bigger roofs
Olmos Park was laid out in the 1920s and is known for large lots and distinctive architecture. Roofs on houses like these are often larger and more complicated than in a newer subdivision, with more valleys, chimneys and places where roof meets wall, which is where leaks usually start. That's why an inspection covers the whole roof, not only the spot that's leaking.
Under the elms and oaks
The city takes its name from the Spanish word for elm, and its streets are shaded by mature trees. Leaves and twigs collect in gutters and valleys, where water can back up under the roof, and a falling limb can do real damage in a storm. We do gutter work too, so both can be looked at together. The April 2016 hailstorm, the costliest in San Antonio's history according to the National Weather Service, brought large hail to central and northern San Antonio around Olmos Park.
