A full remodel or a partial update?
A partial update keeps the layout and replaces what's tired. A full remodel can also change the layout, which means more of the room is rebuilt and the kitchen is out of use for longer.

Planning the layout
Most kitchens work around the trips between the sink, the range and the refrigerator, and how much counter sits beside each. Before anything is ordered, we'll go over where everything goes, how the doors and drawers open, and where you need more storage or more room to work.
Cabinets, counters and backsplash
Cabinets set the look of a kitchen and take a large share of the budget. You can keep sound cabinet boxes and paint or reface them, or replace them with new cabinets. Countertops and the backsplash go in after the cabinets, so it pays to choose them together.
CabinetsLiving without a kitchen for a while
Plan for the days the kitchen can't be used: set up a microwave, a coffee maker and a fridge somewhere else in the house, and empty the cabinets before work starts. We'll tell you which days the kitchen will be out of use.
Common questions
Can you change my kitchen's layout?
Yes. Moving the sink, the range or an island is a bigger job than replacing what's there. We'll talk through what it involves before you decide.
Can I keep my cabinets and change the rest?
Yes. If the cabinet boxes are sound, painting or refacing them, with new counters and a new backsplash, can change the look of the kitchen without replacing everything.
What should I have ready for the first visit?
A rough idea of what you'd like and what you'd like to spend, and pictures of kitchens you like if you have them. We'll measure the room when we come out.
