- New homes and additions
- Shingle, metal, tile and flat roofs
- Gutters planned with the roof
What to include in your enquiry
Include these so we can come back to you with the right questions.
- Where the project is and what stage it's at
- Whether it's a new home or an addition to an existing one
- The roof type and material you have in mind
- Whether you have plans or drawings to share
- Your schedule, and who we should coordinate with on site
Planning the roof
Choose the material early
The roof material shapes the look of the house, the weight the structure carries and the details around it. Settle it before the roof framing is designed or ordered, if you can.
Compare roof typesPlan what goes through it
Vents, pipes, skylights and chimneys all need flashing. Knowing where they'll be keeps the roof simpler to seal.
Plan for the water
Gutters and downspouts carry rain away from the new walls and foundation. We do gutter work too, so it can be planned with the roof.
Gutters
Adding on to an existing home
An addition usually means joining a new roof to an old one, and the place where they meet needs careful flashing. The existing roof's age and condition matter too: sometimes it makes sense to repair or replace part of it at the same time. We'll look at both and talk it through.
