New subdivisions and older streets

Hightop Ridge, Notting Hill, Knox Ridge and Summerhill are among the newest subdivisions, while other parts of Converse are older; the city's own plan notes aging properties in some areas. Whether your roof is two years old with a storm dent or twenty years old and worn, the first step is the same: a free inspection.

Storms and falling trees

The city's plan names severe thunderstorms and tornadoes among Converse's hazards, and Winter Storm Uri hit it hard in February 2021. Trees are part of the risk: NOAA recorded gusts estimated at 65 mph that blew a large tree onto a house in Converse in July 2017. If a limb has come down on your roof, keep clear of it and call us.
