Good times to ask for one
After hail or high wind
Hail can bruise shingles and dent metal without an obvious leak. A look soon after the storm shows where things stand.
Storm damageWhen you notice a stain or drip
A leak you can see inside has often been getting in for a while. Finding the source early can keep the repair smaller.
Roof repairWhen the roof is getting older
If the roof has had several repairs, an inspection helps you plan whether and when to replace it.
Roof replacementWhen you're not sure what you have
Shingle, metal, tile or flat: we'll identify the roof and what it needs.

The inspection
We look at the roof and tell you what we find.
Your options
If the roof needs work, we explain what we recommend. Whether to go ahead is up to you.
Before we visit
A few simple things help the visit go smoothly.
- Please don't climb onto the roof to check it yourself
- Note where you've seen stains, drips or damp, and when they appear
- Tell us about gates, dogs or anything that affects access to the yard
- If the roof has had repairs before, have a rough date handy
- If you've filed an insurance claim, tell us; we can meet your adjuster if you ask
Common questions
Is the roof inspection free?
Yes. There's no charge for the roof inspection.
What should I tell you when I get in touch?
Where the roof is and what you've noticed: a leak, storm damage, missing shingles, or simply that you'd like the roof checked. Include the roof type if you know it.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
We can inspect and document the damage and meet your adjuster at the property. You and your insurance company handle the claim itself; we're a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster.
Where do you work?
In San Antonio, including Stone Oak, and in nearby cities and communities: Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, Terrell Hills, Castle Hills, Shavano Park, Leon Valley, Helotes, Windcrest, Live Oak, Converse, Universal City, Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Schertz, Cibolo and Seguin. If your property is somewhere else, call or send the form and we'll tell you whether we can help.
Do you inspect commercial roofs?
Yes. Tell us about the building, what it's used for and who can give us access to the roof.
What if the roof doesn't need any work?
Then we'll tell you so.
